Hi,
Recently for some users I started to get an error message when exporting to excel, the export works fine but always shows an error when using Chrome. Doing some tests we found that the error appears only with the latest version of chrome.
Chrome version with error -> 65.0.3325.162
Chrome version no error -> 64.0.3282.186
Could you please check this and fix it? The error is quite annoying and we have more than 100 users with Chrome as default browser.
Many thanks,

Can you please see if you can reproduce this problem on the demo server http://reportportal.us
What is your build number (Admin > Settings > Build)? |

Hi, On the demo server I could replicate the issue. When I export to xls I get the following error in a red popup window:
Print/Excel var sExcelExt = "xlsz"; var bExportExcelImage = (""=="True"); var bLocalize = false; var bDataOnly = false; var bExcelFilterSplit = false; var sError = ""; var sPage = "OLAP"; var sSessionID = "c2rk2dci4ysjeir1p15s3rrg"; var sAppUrl = "http://reportportal.us/reportportal/"; var sDecimalSeparator = "."; var sThousandsSeparator = ","; var oLabels = []; oLabels[1060]="No root node found:"; oLabels[454]="There is no data to export"; oLabels[857]="To export the chart image to Excel please:\n open the generated file in Excel, cut the chart image and paste it special as Picture."; Loading...
The release of our environment is ReportPortal 5.0, Build 195, Jan 19, 2017
This issue belongs only to google chrome Versión 65.0.3325.162, other browsers works fine.

Please try this patch for build 198. (You might need to upgrade)
1. Download and unzip: http://www.reportportal.com/download/rp_198_olap_main_excel.zip
2. Backup old file and copy the unzipped file to: "C:\inetpub\wwwroot\ReportPortal\olap\script\main.js"
3. Clear browser cache (Admin Settings > Version > Reset JavaScript cache) |
