Hi
I have recently installed build 144. I have setup subscriptions for a number of users but it doesn't work consistently. Sometimes nobody will receive an e-mail, other times some users receive it but not others.
Any advice on this would be appreciated. |

Hi
I'm trying to delivery standard OLAP reports, I'm not using user filter values and am using Excel as the delivery format.
Thanks for your reply. Blar.

When you go to the Subscription History tab do you see that the email was generated?
If yes, please try to troubleshoot your SMTP service by stopping it and looking under the SMTP Pickup folder (C:\Inetpub\mailroot\Pickup). |

Hi
The subscription history tab is blank. Even on occasions where the e-mail has been received the history is still blank. I have tried using local smtp server and external with same intermittent result. |

Hi,
I would advise you doing the following steps: - Install SMTP server as IIS component - Register CDO for sending emails - Restart IS Admin in Services (incl. SMTP server) - Restart RP Schedulder in Services - Add the name of the local SMTP server in Settings - Test email sending by just sending an email from ReportPortal OLAP report. If this is working than SMTP and CDO are installed ok. - Add a URL Tricker schedule - Add a Subscrpition based on the schedule for sending an Excel sheet as attachement for an OLAP report without any User Filter Values
If this is working you can try to use User Filter Values, sending PDFs, Making Excel files on the server and ftp publish and try Subscription with SQL Reports.
If you have any problems, please let me know.

Hi, I have the same problem with all the users.
- I have installed build 170 - Nobody will receive an e-mail - The RP Scheduler service is installed and running. - The subscription history tab is blank.
With the build 168 it works fine.
Any advice on this would be appreciated.
Regards,

Vane,
Are you able to send an email using Admin > Settings > Email > test?

Yes, I sent an email using Admin > Settings > Email > test and then I have received it. But the subscriptions don't work.

If the report is not private, did you select the user(s) that should receive the report subscription?
Please open the subscription (right clicking on the report and select Subscription) and click on the History tab. Do you see any record? If you see an error, double click on item to see the error description. |

The error you see is a bug that comes up when you click on an empty History page. It will be fixed in the next build.
Does the user you have selected have an email? |
