Hello,

I am unsure I am on the right category of the forum, but I would like to know if there was any possibility to schedule a "synch users" on a particular domain & group for a periodic execution ? Many thanks.

If you want members of a particular domain group to have ReportPortal access just create a ReportPortal role based on this group and check the Windows Based checkbox. This method will only work when you enable Windows or Mixed Security Authentication Mode (Admin > Settings > Security > Security Authentication Mode) or Enable pass-through authentication (Admin > Settings > Security > Enable pass-through authentication).

I already tried that - only issue is that it seems to require a "basic authentication" while I am using a "integrated windows authentication"; I would like people to be able to access Report Portal with no authentication, so I would prefer not using any other authentication mode.

How can I handle then to create new users when I am putting them on an Active Directory group ? Many thanks.

Regards,
François

Have you tried Windows or Mixed Security Authentication Modes (Admin > Settings > Security > Security Authentication Mode)? These modes do not require you to change virtual directory settings of your application.
