Posted - 06/15/2010 : 06:19:12 Small reports we can export to a PDF, but greater than 2 pages, the portal can´t generate. We receive the following message "The file is damaged ou could't be repaired". The portal is creating a PDF file named "document.pf" with 1kb size..When we try to open it, we get the previous message..
We installed de Adobe Reader 9.3 on our server.. |

Posted - 06/16/2010 : 12:58:08 Sorry, but this is not the problem because the software can generate pdf file in some reports. It doesn´t work on OWC Files and OLAP Files with KPI´s |

Posted - 06/16/2010 : 11:10:19 I think I found the problem: we are using KPI´s in a OLAP report (faces). This is not compatible to generate PDF files? |

Posted - 06/16/2010 : 09:35:32 We are trying to export using an OLAP report. We could not simulate the problem on your server. When we click to generate the pdf file, nothing happens. We'll send to you the damaged file, but I think this file is empty. |

Posted - 06/15/2010 : 21:12:26 What type of report are you trying to export (OLAP, SQL)?
It is not necessary to install Adobe Reader on the server.
Please send the damaged file to support@ReportPortal.com.
Please try to reproduce the problem on the demo server: http://www.reportportal.us/ReportPortal/Login.aspx |
