Using filters
Using filters is the query designer:
- Select the table and then the column you would like to use in you Sql statement.
- Select a "WHERE" or a "HAVING" clause
- Click the "Add" button to add the column to the statement.
- Double click the filter to add it to the statement
Filter can also be used in a "Select Box" query. However, the query used must have a
higher sort order than that of the query that is being designed.
Linking to an SQL report
You can pass filter parameters to an SQL report (&Field1=Value1).
- In the view mode, right click on a report and select "Hyperlink" option.
- Check "Filter Param" to get the selected filter parameters.
