As I came to know that for complete installation process, Report Portal 3.0, ReportPortal MAP SDK 2.0 and XMLA Browser 1.1 should be downloaded and installed. I am doing this in Windows XP Professional environment and for SQL Server 2008. But I did not get to see any XMLA Browser available for 2008 in http://www.reportportal.com/, availability is for SQL Server 200 and 2005. Please let me know if its needed or whats the actual requirement.
For complete installation process, only ReportPortal (and its requirements depending on the version of SSAS) have to be installed. Everything else is optional.
XMLA Browser is a separate application. It will work with SSAS 2000, 2005 and 2008 but it requires XMLA to be setup manually.
