We maintain hundreds of reports in dozens of general folders. Our users then like to make copies of these reports in their "My Reports" folders to simplify navigation (most users have no more than 6-12). However, this actually creates a new report: the link to the original report is severed. This is unfortunate, because we then make changes to the source report that aren't reflected in the individuals' folders -- and they never realize it.
What would help is to enable users to "create shortcut" to a report, which is really just a pointer to the original, not an entire copy. This is a highly requested feature at our company.
