Amend the wording to 'Close' from 'Cancel' to remove ambiguity where a user has changed an existing schedule and hit Update, then Cancel to close the dialog (Update then Close makes more sense).
Potential workflows become :
New schedule > Add > Close
Amend schedule > Update > Close
Delete schedule > Delete > Close ('Cancel' does not un-delete a deleted schedule)
No action > Close
