Posted - 02/17/2010 : 12:01:23 Environment: SSAS 2008 ConnectionStringType: XMLA Problem: Initially when i installed RP, it was listing the cubes in that but for some reason, i dont know what happened and it does not list the cubes any more to select from the list.

Posted - 06/28/2011 : 05:29:49 You can try restarting the Analysis Servers Service. I also had the same prob . It worked on Service restart.

1. Make sure that the password for the Anonymous user for XMLA virtual directory has not changed. 2. Make sure that the Anonymous user still has access to the cube
Also makes sure that your cube is processed. |

Posted - 02/19/2010 : 12:27:30 yes, the same xmla is used for sql server 2008 and i deleted the connections cache in Admin --> Connections --> delete cache and then recreated the cache. But when i view the cached connection it only list upto the SSAS catalog but does not list the cubes in that.

Is the same xmla used for SSAS 2008 ?
Can you test with Admin > Connections if connections are ok and do you have rebuild the XMLA cache ?
