Posted - 10/30/2009 : 01:55:47 Has anybody had such a problem? At the end of the installation I get en error stating "The installer has encountered an unexpected error installing this package. This may indicate a problem with this package. The error code is 2869.".
I have a distributed environment: 1st. server - SQL 2008(DB and AS) on Win 2008 R2 2nd. server - Win 2003 with IIS 6 - Here I want to install ReportPortal
I have domain admin rights and all the required software preinstalled and configured...
Anybody any idea?

Posted - 11/02/2009 : 04:19:12 Please try this: On “SQL Server Analysis Services Selection” page select: Not Used / Already Configured.
If your installation is successful you can setup XMLA connection manually by creating XMLA virtual directory as described this document: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc917711.aspx
You can register the connection in ReportPortal. Go to Admin > Connections. Select XMLA URL for connection type and xmla/msmdpump.dll for connection string. Click Add to add the connection.
