There's a funny contrast in this FH6 drop: one car begs for a relaxed coastal run, the other wants every apex nailed. Players chasing fresh FH6 Cars have landed on two very different prizes, the Aston Martin DB7 GT and the returning Lamborghini Huracán STO. The Aston feels like a proper early-2000s grand tourer, all long bonnet and V12 theatre. The STO, meanwhile, shows up like it's already late for a lap record. Both are worth claiming, though garage-space warnings have become part of the weekly ritual.

The DB7 GT Needs a Careful Hand

Stock, the DB7 GT isn't trying to be a monster. That's kind of the point. It rolls into a cruise nicely, sounds warm under throttle, and has that old Aston look which doesn't need much help. Throwing twin turbos, a swap, race suspension, and huge wheels at it can be fun, sure. But go too far and it starts looking like somebody lost a bet in the Horizon Festival car park.

The sensible route is lower ride height, wider tyres, and a tune that calms the rear without wiping out the V12 character. Its upgraded sound is better than expected, too. You still hear some of that original engine note instead of a totally generic race-car howl. Aero is where people split. The big rear wing works if you're building for rivals, but on a clean DB7? Yeah, it's a hard sell.

What Players Are Actually Running

The Meta: STO drivers run grip tunes and attack wet technical circuits.

The Snag: The DB7 loses composure when boosted beyond sensible tyre limits.

The Fix: Tune the Aston mildly and save serious racing for STO.

Reality check: Nobody needs another huge winged DB7, but adjustable aero still wins races when the leaderboard gets sweaty.

Two Cars, Two Completely Different Jobs

Lamborghini Huracán STO Technical races and rivals Corner grip Sound divides players

The Garage Question Everyone Keeps Asking

A lot of players are wondering whether the STO is worth keeping if their garage is already full and they mostly play seasonal events.

Honestly, keep it. It's fast straight away, easy in rain, and useful whenever tight-road championships pop up.

More Than Just a Pair of Reward Cars

The update has also brought the usual odd little FH6 moments. Black exhaust flames have appeared on a few cars, and parts of the festival area can make suspension bounce for no obvious reason. Most of it seems to settle after a longer session, so it doesn't feel like a disaster. Still, it's classic Horizon stuff: you log in for a race, then spend ten minutes watching your car pogo across a rough patch. The Playlist is the bigger reason to stay active. Italian dealership offers, returning rare cars, and weekly points give collectors a real reason not to skip a season. The DB7 GT adds charm, while the STO adds pace you can actually lean on when roads get slippery. If your credits are running thin, it may be worth planning which rewards matter before you buy Forza Horizon 6 Credits and fill another garage slot you'll swear was supposed to stay empty.
