• Navigate down to the member that should be the default.
• The Multi-Select button allows selecting more than one member at once. To multi select a range of items: select first item then shift-click last item.

Click on the "pin" icon to restrict the report users from navigating up from the selected member. This can be used to restrict users from viewing restricted data. This technique can also be useful to restrict the report from showing large number of members and taking a long time to execute.

If you have a date attribute, you can use as a date picker as a filter. Add your date attribute to filers then go to Options > Dimension tab, select your date attribute and check: Filter as date picker. Make sure that the date format matches your date attribute format. Click the help icon next to "Date Format" label to see the date format syntax. Check Range checkbox to use two date pickers for the date attribute.
