Hi,
is there a method to hide specific filters in an SQL report like the hide option for the view mode in OLAP reports?

Open the report in the view mode, click Edit toolbar button > click Filters tab > uncheck the filter you want to hide and enter the default value. Save the SQL report as an SQL view report.
You can also pass &Hide[1-9]=1 URL parameter like:
http://reportportal.us/reportportal/Proxy.aspx?reportId=1701&Field1=Australia&Hide1=1
