Hello,
I am creating a graphic chart and I need to place a target line across the chart so that we can see how our production lines are doing in a weekly basis.
I have not been able to find if setting the target line is possible or not.
Any information about this would be great.
Thank you much. |

To create a horizontal trend line for OLAP report:
1) Create calculated measure that would return a constant. This can be just a number or an MDX expression that uses STDDEV and AVG MDX functions 2) Select a Line chart or a combination line chart 3) Under chart options select: Switch chart Axis
Please see an example of this on the demo http://www.reportportal.us/ReportPortal My Reports > Control Chart

Excellent. Thank you very much, this information has been really helpful.
One quick question, I have to resource categories: laser mills, tig mills. Even though they are grouped correctly, there is no way to tell which group is which. Do you know if there is a way to add group captions?
Once again, thanks a-lot. |

What exactly are you referring to? What do you mean by a resource (report, folder, or named-set)? |

Hi,
I want to find out if there is a way to add text labels on the charts.
I was able to figure out how to add the title to it. There are a couple of charts that need to have labels but I am not sure how to add them or if it is even possible.
Thank you much.

ok on my X axis contains all the mills that are on the plant.
the mills are grouped by laser mills and tig mills, but there is not way to indicate this visually to the user. I want to add a label that says indicates this. |

On the grahp example that you showed me, the Quarters would be my mill numbers
M01 M02 M03 M04 M05 M06 M07 M08 M09 M10
mill number 01 through 05 are laser, the rest are TIG
I would like to have something like:
M01 M02 M03 M04 M05 M06 M07 M08 M09 M10 Laser TIG |

Is “mill numbers” level part of the same dimensional hierarchy as “Laser TIG” level?
Please try these chart options: - Switch chart Axis - Show data at the lowest level - Labels: Slant |

Laser and TIG are two different mill types. For some reason the html shows them close together even though I added some spaces.
The options I changed based on your comment did not work for what I need though.
The words "Laser" and/ or "TIG" are not a field, this is just text that I need to add at the bottom of the graph to indicate e.g. the mill numbers on the left are laser mills, the mill numbers on the right are TIG mills.
Thank you very much. |
