This may be an SSAS issue, apologies if so. An OLAP report contains a Customer dimension, with Customer Number and Customer Name as columnar attributes, like so :

Sales Territory - Country - Customer Number - Customer Name - Revenue

The initial display is aggregations at the All level, and users can break through to e.g. Sales Territory 'EU', Country 'GB', and then explode the Customer attribute.

At that point it would be nice for the Customer Name attribute to show inline against each Customer Number :

Sales Territory - Country - Customer Number - Customer Name - Revenue

EU All All All 12345
EU BE All All 1234
EU GB ABC123 A Customer 123
EU GB BCD234 Someone Else 12

Hope the table is readable.

As it is, the Customer Name needs to be opened for each Customer Number, which impedes legibility.

It is possible to create a report that shows the detail right away, but that doesn't show aggregations at the All level.

Is the inline display of related attributes feasible (e.g. show Customer Name inline with Customer Number when the latter is exploded from the All level)?

To remove the All level from a dimension please select a level instead of the entire dimension hierarchy.

Is it possible to combine a hierarchy and dimension attributes in one report layout? In the example, the Sales Territory/Country/Customer would be in a hierarchy, and the Customer Name a dimension attribute. When doing this with the cube I have built, the All level of the Territory attribute is shown, with every possible value for the Customer Name, like so :

Sales Territory - Country - Customer - Customer Name - Revenue
EU - All - All - A Customer - 123
- Someone Else - 12

The desired result is for Customer Name only to show when the Customer attribute is expanded.

Yes, just drag and drag Dimension attributes to measures. Please see "Olap Report\ Dimension attributes" report on the demo server:
