I need a little help on some OLAP charts I am trying to build.

On our system (latest current release) I have a line chart and I do not want to display the x and y axis legends. I can un-check them in design but when I go into view or back into design the options are still checked.

I tried to recreate the issues in the demo site but on the demo site I can not get any x and y axis legends to appear.

I am puzzled as to what to try next.

TIA - Ron

The demo website had a new report called: 2012-01-10 legend test.

Under chart options, the Show Legend option is unchecked. When the option is checked Legend appears.

Please try to reproduce this problem again.

Thanks for the response.

I revisited the demo site and followed your instructions and the chart display performed as you said.

I returned to my site but the x and y legends still apear. This is with IE 9. I displayed the chart in the Chrome browser and the x and y legends do not appear. I also tested with IE 8 and same results as with IE 9.

The charts appear correctly in chrome browser but differently in IE. So something different in my environment for IE display.

Thoughts?

TIA Ron

The problem is that you cannot hide the legend. Correct?

Are you now saying that this bug can be reproduced only on your website and only in IE?

Please remove “Temporary Internet Files” in the Internet Explorer. In IE 8 and up, uncheck “Preserve Favorite Website Data” option.

Do you see any JavaScript error in your environment? In IE go to Internet Options > Advanced > Browsing > uncheck “disable script debugging (IE)”

A new build (177) should be out in a week or so. It might fix the problem in your environment.
