HI, I tried to use the password request form (ForgotPassword) but the user receives no email, there is any option to setting for this utility. There is another way to recover the password of a user ? Thank's

Are you able so send an email using Admin > Settings > Email > Test feature?

Hi, yes I configured email setup in admin setting and the test works fine, the email report works also, only ForgotPassword doesn't work. NB: I use an external SMTP server

Please go to Admin > users and make sure that the user has email set.

Hi, the user has configured the email address and sends and receives correctly reports.

What is your Security Authentication Mode set to? (Admin > Settings > Security). Please note that in Windows Security Mode the password be sent unless the user is an admin.

Autentication mode is set to "APPLICATION"

I do not know if that was the problem, but the system email address configured was the same as the administrator, I changed the address by creating a new email different from administrator and now everything works. Thank's a lot By Gianluca.
