As the version of SQL Server 2008R2 on our live machine was an Evaluation one (thanks to the DBA) I've had to revert back to 2008 R2 Standard. SQL is functioning, however I can't log into ReportPortal, errors with 'Login failed for user odbc' (which is the standard user for the application).

No changes were made to IIS or to the app prior to the backup - uninstall - reinstall - restore process.

xmla.udl is reporting a login failure for user odbc.

Does RP have to be reinstalled following a database change or is there a simple solution?

Thanks,
Dave Booth

Sorry, I'm a twit. I had set SQL up in Windows Authentication Mode instead of Mixed Mode.

Are you able to login to the ReportPortal database with odbc user using SQL Server Management Studio?

Please try to create new login and user (odbc2) that would have access to ReportPortal database. Change xmla.udl to use the new user.
