Hi there,

I'm experiencing a rather strange issue. The environment details:
- Windows Server 2008 R2
- ReportPortal 3.0
- SQL Server 2008 R2

Almost everything is working fine. No issue with the XMLA msdmpump.dll, I can connect to the cubes, I can see their content... the error comes up when I try to add a calculated field AND click on the functions.
The error message can be seen on the following screenshot:
http://martinistibi.files.wordpress.com/2012/08/functionxmlaerror.png?w=645

If it's not visible: it complains about line 263 of the ...ReportPortal/olap/xmla.aspx - "Object Required"

I've checked that exact row in the xmla.aspx file and it's part of this node: function XmlaGetResult(iIndex)

The row itself: }else if (oHttp.responseXML.documentElement == null){

I cannot see any suspious stuff here but I'm not an XMLA expert.

I have tried replacing it with an xmla.aspx from a working installation and/or just replacing the definition of that function but neither of these worked.

Our client is a licensed ReportPortal user.

I would be grateful for any help! I suspect reinstalling the software should solve it but this is a PROD environment and I would like to do this as a last resort.

Any help is appreciated!

Thanks,

MartinIsti
