Hi,

I have two cubes in same database.
When I am creating a XMLA URL connection both the cubes are visible to user. (I am using IUSR authentication)
Is there any way to hide one cube.
Actually I want to create two connection each of them will connect to separate cube; it will help me to create proper permission to end users.

Tarun Ghosh

Hi macro,

I am using sql server 2008 R2 SSAS Dimensiona.
I cannot use domain authentication; so in role I have given full access to IUSR; Is there anyoption to restrict cube list in report portal data connection settings.

Hi,

Which SQL Server 2005, 2008, 2012 are you using for SSAS Dimensiona or Tabular Model ?

If you use authentication you can show on/off dimension members, perspectives, groups, cubes and olap databases.

If you have questions, please let me know.

Regards, Marco
