Posted - 03/20/2007 : 12:48:45 We are running Windows Server 2003, SQL Server 2005, and ReportPortal 135 with passthrough authentication.
When navigating to "http://<server>/reportportal" more than once in an instance of internet explorer 6 or 7, The navigation tabs (View, Design, Admin,...) disappear and the "log in" link appears in place of the user name in the upper right corner.
Although it appears as though the user is logged out at this point, all of the reports are visible and functional.
Clicking the "log in" link causes the tabs and user name to reappear |

Posted - 03/28/2007 : 18:36:08 The problem has been identified and the fix will be included in the next build.
The work around is to remove default.aspx as the default page. (In IIS admin ReportPortal virtual directory properties > Documents). If you need a hot fix please contact: support@ReportPortal.com.

Posted - 03/22/2007 : 05:34:03 The option Admin> Settings> Security > “Make public reports visible to outside users” is unchecked. We have the option Admin> Settings> Security > "Enable pass-through authentication (Test)" enabled, and thought that no matter how many times the user navigated to http://<server>/ReportPortal, they would be logged in based on pass-through authentication.
I've verified our problem on 3 servers running our modified ReportPortal build 135, and 1 server running a default ReportPortal version 135.

Posted - 03/21/2007 : 20:10:46 Please uncheck this option Admin> Settings> Security > “Make public reports visible to outside users” and click Update.
Open a new browser window and go to http://localhost/ReportPortal/. The would redirect you to http://localhost/ReportPortal/login.aspx |
