I created a dashboard that displays 4 sql reports/ charts I wrote.

All these are charts are using SQL Server views.

I tried to create a date range filter that would affect all the four charts, but before the portal lets me proceed, it asks me to create a connection.

When I go ahead and try to create a connection, I only see connections to the cubes, but no database connections available.

Is it possible to add “global” filters to dashboards created using sql based charts?

If you could share some light on this, that would be great.

Thanks.

Sorry but dashboard filtering for SQL report is not yet supported. We plan to implement this in a future version. When this feature is implemented you will be able to select a shared dashboard filters for the SQL sub-reports.
