Hello,

similarly to one issue I reported earlier this year and that you did fix, there is an issue with some filters displaying sometimes a different value than what is actually selected.

I was able to reproduce this issue on your demo server (http://www.reportportal.us/ReportPortal/login.aspx): if you open the "Test" report located on "My Reports" folder for Admin user, then change the filter "Customers" from value "All Customers" to value "USA", and finally display the field list and remove "Store Type" from the filter elements, you will see the value under "Customers" filter will be reset to "All Customers". Yet the report is still filtered on "USA" only (which you can prove by displaying MDX code for instance).

This issue is annoying enough, because it does confuse users when they are modifying their reports. Please could you check if that could be fixed rapidly enough ? Many thanks.

Hello,

I have installed those two fixes and I confirm both are working fine. Many thanks for your quick answer, as always your support is really appreciated.

Thank you for reporting this bug. Here is the hot fix:

1) Download and unzip: http://reportportal.com/download/rp_178_ChartGrid.zip
2) Backup old file and copy the unzipped file to: "C:\inetpub\wwwroot\ReportPortal\ChartGrid\ChartGrid.js"

Hi,

many thanks for the quick fix - I will test it and confirm everything is fine as soon as possible (I firstly need to update our server to build 178, we are still running with build 177).

By the way, another bug I found long time ago, which is not really affecting us since we are not yet using this type of report, but definitively something we would like to do at some point: for "Chart Grid" report type, when you set a filter you cannot browse on it (there is a javascript error - I tried with both IE9 and Chrome browsers). I reproduced that on your test server: if you open report "Chart Grid Bug" under "My Reports" for Admin user, then you display list for "Customers" filter and try to expand "All Customers" value, you will get this error message.

Thanks again for your support !
