Posted - 07/07/2011 : 12:50:44 Hello, When I try to create a new named set "Best clients" and I Choose 5 clients, I notice that when I save the named set I get the following error: "Item could not be saved into the shared library, SaveField() - Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt." If I deselect one of the clients it goes well. So, it happens to some of the items I want to include in the set!
Please!! I would be so thankful if you give me a hand.
Kind Regards, Matias

Which build of ReportPortal did you install? You can see this by going to Admin > Settings > Version. |

Posted - 09/15/2011 : 13:58:13 Hello again,
I could successfully uninstall and reinstall Report Portal but anything changed and still have the same issue. Note: I didn't remove the database of Report Portal because my client has many reports and information.
If there's something else I can do please let me know,
Thank you very much, Matias

Posted - 09/15/2011 : 12:24:09 Hello,
Although I have uninstalled Report Portal, when I clic ReportPortalSetup.msi, as soon as I do, prompt the following message: "the evaluation version can be installed only once. Would you like to purchase?", if i clic YES it asks me for information for you to contact me, if NO then it closes. What can I do? Thank you very much, Kind Regards, Matias

2. Make sure that pre-requisites are installed applicable to your version of Microsoft SQL Server. Read Readme.txt.
3. Double click on ReportPortalSetup.msi and follow the instructions |

Posted - 09/07/2011 : 17:35:33 Hi, It wasn't me who did the installation of RP. Where can I get some instructions of how is it installed, etc? and what's that "virtual dir", so i can solve the problem?
Thanks a lot, Best Regards, Matias

Posted - 09/06/2011 : 16:42:16 Please try to uninstall and reinstall ReportPortal to a different virtual directory (ReportPortal2) or a different web server.
Alternatively you can try to send the zipped copy of ReportPortal virtual directory along with the ReportPortal database to support@ReportPortal.com for analysis.

Posted - 08/30/2011 : 10:46:48 Hello, I've just tried the solution you propose (because I was waiting for the upgrade of Report Portal to see if the problem was fixed). I'm getting the same problem as before, and even applying the patch you have sent, Any other ideas? Thank you very much,
Kind Regards, Matias

Posted - 07/12/2011 : 13:11:09 This bug exists in Build 174 Evaluation version only and can be fixed with the following patch:
1. Download and unzip http://www.reportportal.com/download/RP_174_NamedSet.zip 2. Backup old files and copy the unzipped files to: C:\inetpub\wwwroot\ReportPortal\olap
This patch is installed on the evaluation server: http://www.reportportal.us/ReportPortal/
