Posted - 08/30/2010 : 12:08:55 HI! I have installed Report Portal in a 64-bit server, but IIS is in 32 bits to run RP. The SQL server is 64 bit too. It must has some special configuration to connect the XMLA to 64 bits? How can I do to run this?

Posted - 09/01/2010 : 13:48:26 Have you tried setting "Enable 32-Bit Applications" to True for the XMLA Application pool?

Posted - 09/01/2010 : 12:25:02 HI,
With Win 2003 IIS can run in 32 or in 64 bit for support of 32 and 64 bit web solutions not both the same time. With Win 2008 IIS 64 bit it is possible.
If XMLA is not working I would suggest you to manual setup XMLA and did you follow the needed steps ?

Posted - 08/31/2010 : 08:07:38 Hi!
I'm using: Windows 2003 Server 64 bits. SQL Server 2008 64 bits.
The problem is that the XMLA does not connect to the OLAP server. Is it caused for the version of SQL? Do I have to configure something particular for XMLA? Or How can I do that configuration?

Posted - 08/30/2010 : 13:48:45 Hi,
The latest build can install both on windows 32 and 64.
Which Windows 64 are you using ?
Windows 2003 32/64 Windows 2008 32/64 Windows XP 32/64 Windows 7 32/64 ?
IIS with Windows 2008 64 can work both with 32 and 64 apps and so there is no problem with installation and use of RP on 64 bit software (windows, IIS, SQL Server 2008 64).
