Posted - 08/12/2009 : 10:01:26 I have a site that shows cubes to customers over the internet and it seems to be taking a very long time for the report to display from the "Loading.." part. i've watched the services on my web server (IIS7) and database server (2 separate Win 2008 servers on same domain) and there is no spike in process activity but the network activity spikes during this time.
I've tried the HTTP compression and really don't know where else to look. Anyone out there experience anything like this or have suggestions? |

Posted - 08/14/2009 : 12:42:21 Please try this test:
1) Open the report in the design mode 2) Click MDX button 3) Check “Show Query Time” 4) Click Execute 5) Look down at the status bar. What is the time it takes to Download and Render the report?

Are you using an evaluation version? Yes, i upgraded from 2 to 3 about a month ago
If yes, when did you install it? (it might have expired) Can you design a new report? yup.
Are there are any other reports you can view? they all run pretty slow.
