Hello,

I am currently using the "Data Entry" report type to enable users to enter some transport cost which is not properly handled by our ERP. This is working fine, though the process is quite long because you cannot display a list of records with fields to fill in, and users have to click on each record one by one to fill in information for a particular record, then move on to the next one and so on.

In other words, I would like something like what is displayed by the "grid" screen, but with the ability to fill in information directly from there. Am I missing something and is there anyway of doing that currently, or do you plan to do add such a functionality in future releases of Report Portal ? Many thanks.

Regards,
François

This feature became available in build 165.

Hi,

Maybe a SQL Report with the records which should be updated by users based on authorisation with an edit > Data Entry form can be a solution for your question.

If you have some questions, how to handle this, please let me know. info @ gmsbv.nl

Thanks for your reply.

Should I copy/paste this post on a new one belonging to "Wish List", or could you move it yourself to that section - or should it just be staying there ?

Many thanks.

Regards,
François

No, this feature is not currently available. It is a good suggestion. This post should probably belong under the Wish List section.

Thank you for your feedback.
